Sunrise Introduction

Debate and robotics classes offer students different learning experiences and skill sets.

Debate classes provide students with the opportunity to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and persuasive communication skills. Students learn how to research and construct compelling arguments, listen actively to opposing viewpoints, and think critically about complex issues. These skills are valuable for developing confident and articulate individuals who can effectively communicate and advocate for their ideas.

On the other hand, robotics classes focus on cultivating students' technical and problem-solving skills. Students learn about engineering, programming, and design principles as they build and program robots to perform specific tasks. This hands-on experience fosters creativity, collaboration, and persistence, as students work through challenges and iterate on their designs. These skills are valuable for preparing students for careers in STEM fields and for nurturing their ability to innovate and adapt to new technologies.

Both debate and robotics classes offer unique opportunities for students to develop important skills that are relevant in today's fast-paced and interconnected world. While debate classes emphasize communication and critical thinking, robotics classes focus on technical and problem-solving abilities, both of which are crucial for success in the 21st century.
